[19 Apr 2004|01:37pm] Almost funny... Chris told me that when I read the book he recommended, God would possibly reveal talents that I didn't know I had... I qualified expert on the M9 yesterday. When instructed to put 'four in the head', that's what I did. I've fired handguns before, but never the M9. Interesting Matt Fact: I first learned to shoot at church camp. [12 Apr 2004|08:50pm] [ music | Elliott Smith No Name No. 5 ] update... things aren't good. they're weird. I'm reading Chris's book, and the verdict is still out. I watched the Passion, and instead of making me feel better, it just made me sad. I'm looking for a purpose to my life, and the world just makes me sick and angry. Like many of us do, I've turned to movie quotes to describe how I feel. "I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career.
